Aurora is a Canadian based software company founded in 2004 and led by Dr. Erik Yeo,

a physician with a career in laboratory medicine, hematology and research.

With the guidance of Dr. Yeo and in collaboration with clinical pathologists, academicians

and educators, Aurora has developed highly intuitive software solutions that provide web

based interactivity and access to the Universal mScope viewer, regardless of the scanner

format used in the creation of the images.

 

The mission of Aurora mScope is to help practising pathologists, educators and researchers

to utilize the power and flexibility of a comprehensive digital system for all of their needs,

including remote and collaborative access to whole slide imagery and fully customized workflow tools.
