Aurora consolidates its position as universal native image format viewer for pathology

Aurora to support Motic’s scanner format

MONTREAL (CANADA), March 25, 2010 – Aurora Interactive Ltd., a world leader in digital pathology communications announced today that the company is now supporting the Motic scanner image format. With this announcement, Aurora Interactive keeps expanding its universality and continues its commitment to native format pixel-for-pixel quality image transmission. The announcement was made at the United States & Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP) annual meeting.

Mr. Alex Lobozar, Head of Motic North America stated: “We recognized the added advantage of being compatible with Aurora’s mScope communications platform which is commonly used in more than eight countries”.
